How will your firm advise your clients?
I note from your various articles posted on Centaline's website that you have been bearish about the property market in HK. In your articles, you consistently draw reference to the 65% price slash in 97. I note the data your quoted, and analysis you made, and the inference you drew. Your point is seen.
I know that you operate a real estate agency business. I am wondering how your firm will advise potential buyer now when they come to you. Will you or your staff tell them, "don't buy it now because the price will drop significantly further"? Will you just focus on rental business, i.e. asking the potential buyers to rent first and wait a couple of years for the price trough? If it is the case, you cannot make any deal.
I talked to your staff in a number of occasions and apparently they are not giving such advice. What they say and opine is no more difference than that by the agents in Midland or Centaline.
